Frequently asked questions about pricing

Are these prices final or starting points?
The flat fees ($650 closing, $500 will + POA, $2,000 trust) are starting points for standard situations. Complex transactions, multi-property estates, or unusual circumstances are scoped at intake and quoted before work begins. Adam never bills surprise fees — the engagement letter states the fee structure in writing before any work starts.
Why is real estate flat-fee?
Most residential closings involve similar workflow. Flat-fee aligns Adam's incentives with the client's — no clock running, unlimited questions and follow-up within scope. Complex closings are scoped separately.
Do you offer payment plans?
For estate planning packages and larger projects, payment can be structured around milestones. Real estate closings are paid at closing from the proceeds. Fractional GC engagements are billed monthly in advance.
What if my matter doesn't fit any category?
Many matters don't. Litigation, business disputes, M&A, AI compliance audits, and complex estate planning are scoped at intake — either hourly or project flat-fee, agreed before work begins. Call (773) 777-9888 for a no-cost scope discussion.
